Dark Ascension Game Day

Saturday February 25th, 5pm, Standard Format

$5 per person

All participants receive an exclusive Strangleroot Geist card (while supplies last). The Top 8 players also each receive an exclusive Zombie Apocalypse extended-art prize card (while supplies last). These cards are awarded to the Top 8 players even if the tournament cuts only to the Top 4. In addition, the first-place finisher at Dark Ascension Game Day will receive an exclusive playmat.

And now for something completely different! New at Hastur, we are hosting a Steampunk Swap Meet & Greet. Are you into Steampunk style and want to find new pieces for your costumes? Bring your goods that you want to trade or bring your want list for new pieces to look for. Tables are available for those who want to trade their goods. This will run from 11 am till 6 pm on Saturday, February the 25th. It is free to attend. Come see what is for trade!

Killer Bunnies

PLUS YELLOW BOOSTER DECK: Killer Bunnies is a fast paced, action filled card game, in which you must try to keep as many Bunnies alive as possible, while eliminating your opponents’ Bunnies.

The problem: Your opponents are armed with weapons and will stop at nothing to keep you from winning the game, which can be dreadfully vengeful, horribly nasty, hilariously messy, and just plain fun!

Can you keep from being attacked by the whimsical Whisk or the torching Flame Thrower? Defend your Bunnies with the Magic Spatula or use the Feed the Bunny card to starve our an opponent! It’s off-the-wall strategic fun where the goal is to survive and claim the Magic Carrot to win the game!

Road to Lock N Load: Kick Off Event

Hastur will be hosting the big kick-off event for the Road to Lock N Load! This statewide event promises to be really exciting! So far 3 stores are participating. It will be Saturday, February the 11th at 10:30am. 2 lists 35pts. Death Clock Format Steam Roller. $10 entry fee. Bring your figs and earn points! All will be kept record of. Lock N Load Achievement Packets will be available at each event for those participating. At the end of the run , the person with the most points will win a paid trip/ticket to Lock N Load in Seattle WA! We here at Hastur are really excited about this and will do all we can to make it exciting for you! Like our facebook page (Hastur Games and Comics) and connect through us to the Utah Warhammer page. We will be posting details as they become available. I talked with Adam about prizes for the last event and the following is what you have to look forward to:

1st place: Paid trip/ticket to Lock N Load in Seattle, WA. (includes travel and hotel)

2nd place: Battlefoam Bag fully loaded with foam.

3rd place: P3 bag loaded with paints and supplies.

4th place: to be decided

5th place: to be decided

Flames of War Tournament

Hastur is hosting a Flames of War Tournament on Saturday, January 21st from noon till 8:30 pm. The cost is $10 and sign-ups have started. It will be Mid-war at 1500 pts. With winter finally here this is a great way to spend a weekend. See you there!
