June, Saturday, the 8th at 6pm. Get ready! Entry fee is 2 boosters. Team assembled from those boosters. You must have at least 12 points accumulated ( 4 events) to participate in the finals for the Serpent Grand Prize. It’s the “Twilight of the Gods” as HeroClix brings the mythic action of Marvel Comics’ successful Fear Itself storyline event to the tabletop with six exciting monthly events! Will players align themselves with “The Worthy”, or will they instead fight alongside “The Mighty”? Battle it out, collect the eight Hammers of The… Worthy, and fight your way to the God of Fear himself, the Serpent in Month Six!
Marvel HeroClix: Fear Itself is a six-month Storyline Organized Play event that will energize the player community and inspire new players to join the fight against the forces of the evil Serpent God of Fear!
In addition to highly desirable competitive prizes exclusive to this Organized Play program, each month participating players can add to their very own collection of the Hammers of The Worthy! Along with the Book of the Skull resource dial, the Hammers of The Worthy bring all of the sinister power of the Serpent’s heralds to HeroClix!
Prepare yourselves as the Serpent and The Worthy seek to conquer both Midgard and Asgard!

Modern Masters Release

Modern Masters is generating a lot of excitement in the Magic Card World! Hastur Games will have them available for sale on Friday, June 7th. It is first come first serve on this highly anticipated set. (no holds, with limits of 1 box per customer to assure that all are able to buy) We will be selling it at the MSRP pricing upon release. We open at 11 am. Due to high demand we will not have a binder available.

Modern Masters will be a small set containing reprints from 8th Edition through Alara Reborn pulled from the Modern format, including the sought after Tarmogoyf! The set is designed to be both high power and balanced for Limited.

20 to 30 cards will have new art, as well as creature tokens that haven’t been printed before. A guaranteed premium foil card will take the place of a basic land in each pack

Hastur Games is hosting Free RPG Day!

On Saturday, June 15th at 10 am we will be hosting Free RPG Day! We will have scenarios to hand out to interested folks. (there might be a limit depending on demand so as to share as much as possible with as many as possible) We will have 3-4 GMs that day running chosen scenarios for you to try out and play! Paizo: We be Goblins and the Star Wars: Shadows of a Black Sun are definitely going to be run. There will be a free RPG Day Tshirt given away in a drawing. To enter, show up and put in your name and other pertinent info. Also we will be having a HUGE sale on used Role Playing Games. 50% off the marked price. Come on in and take a look at the selection.

Saturday, June 1st, Hastur Games will be hosting a Pokemon: Battle Road Championship. This is a free event. Bring your decks, get them checked in and have fun! The Battle Road series is designed to provide players with small, entry-level events on a local scale. Battle Road Spring tournaments give players another opportunity to work on their Championship Points, potentially earning an invite to the Pokémon TCG World Championships. Registration starts at 11 am.
